1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, accessing, or using SipPal Water, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the application.
If you download SipPal Water through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement may also apply. These Terms supplement that agreement where permitted.
2. Eligibility
SipPal Water is intended for users aged 16 and older. Users under 16 should not use SipPal Water without appropriate involvement from a parent or guardian.
3. Description of the service
SipPal Water is a general wellness app that offers water intake tracking, estimated hydration goals, reminders, progress and weekly insights, achievements, a virtual penguin companion, and optional iCloud synchronization of the app’s language and measurement-unit settings. Features may change as the app is improved.
4. Health disclaimer
SipPal Water is not a medical device. Hydration goals, reminders, and information are provided for general informational and wellness purposes only and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Individual fluid needs vary. If you have a medical condition, take medication that affects fluid balance, are pregnant, or have been told to limit fluids, consult a qualified healthcare professional and follow their instructions.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide information you consider accurate when using personalization features, use SipPal Water lawfully, make your own decisions about when and how much to drink, and maintain appropriate device security and backups.
6. Local data, iCloud settings sync, and availability
SipPal Water stores core profile, health-related, hydration, reminder, achievement, and pet-progress data locally. iCloud Settings Sync does not back up or synchronize that core data. You are responsible for your device and device backups. Removing the app, resetting data, device loss, storage failure, or operating-system behavior may result in data loss.
The optional iCloud feature depends on your Apple Account, iCloud availability, network conditions, and Apple’s services. Synchronization may not be immediate or uninterrupted. We aim to keep SipPal Water useful and available, but we do not guarantee that every feature will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Intellectual property
SipPal Water’s software, designs, illustrations, characters, branding, and other original materials are owned by chen quan, operating under the Carson Studio name, or used with permission. They are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
8. Changes and termination
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features to improve SipPal Water, address security or legal requirements, or maintain the service. We may restrict use where these Terms are violated or the app is misused.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SipPal Water is provided “as is” and without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. chen quan is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use SipPal Water.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
