Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

These answers reflect SipPal Water version 1.0 and its local-first design.

Where is my SipPal Water data stored?

Your profile, hydration records, goals, reminder settings, achievement progress, and pet progress are stored locally on your device. Optional iCloud Settings Sync is off by default and shares only your language and measurement-unit preferences across devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

Why am I not receiving reminders?

Check that reminders are enabled inside SipPal Water, that your waking-hour schedule includes the current time, and that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications → SipPal. iOS may also adjust delivery according to Focus and notification settings.

How do I change my goal or cup size?

Open Settings in SipPal Water and choose Goal or Cup. You can update either value at any time. Changing today’s goal does not rewrite the goal used for earlier days.

Can I delete my hydration records?

You can remove an individual record from today’s record list. To clear all SipPal Water data, open Settings → Data Management and use the reset option. This action cannot be undone.

Does SipPal Water replace medical advice?

No. SipPal Water provides a general wellness estimate and is not a medical device. If a doctor or healthcare professional has asked you to limit fluids, follow their instructions instead of SipPal Water’s estimate.

Which devices are supported?

SipPal Water is designed for iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.
